Udayan Mukhopadhyay is a person of varied interests. Armed with the Post Graduate degree in Economics from the University of Calcutta he has worked in different professional fields including the role of business developer, public relations officer, journalist, writer, and teacher. But the thing which remains attached to his heart is the “Urge for Creation”. The theological aptitude and the sense of appreciation for the surroundings lead him to the world of OWN CREATION from a very early stage of life. The current pieces are some of the parts of his feelings --- something he has written and the rest are for the readers to create. The poems here are the mirror image of the inner world of his soul and so it may so happen that they carry a different meaning to a different reader.
